Little Duckling Sockor
Stickor: strumpstickor 3
mm och 2,5 mm.
Masktäthet: 20 m på 10 cm i
bredd med stickor 3 mm.
Storlek: 38
Resår:
Lägg upp 40 m. på st. 2,5mm. Sticka
*2 rm, 2 am* upprepa **. Sticka i resår mönstret
(Rätt sid.): sticka tills 1 m innan gapet/klyftan
(43 m totalt)
På st. 1-2 gör du hålmönstret & 3-4 i rätt
stickning.
V3: lyft 1:a m, sticka tills en maska innan
gapet/mellan rummet, l ssk, 1 rm,vänd
V4: lyft 1:a mgf, sticka avi tills gapet, 2 avi
hella sockan ( original antalet)
Sticka sedan rakt till arb. Når upp till lilltån.
Nu
börjar minskningarna för tårna:
V1: (nål 1 & 2): 1 rm, 2 rm ihop i fmb, *1 rm, 1
lyft m.* upprep.
V1: 1 rm, sticka 2 rm tills., 1 omslag, 1rm, 1 omsl.,
lyft 1 m., 1rm, dra den lyfta m. över den stickade, 1rm
V2: rätt
V3: 2 rm tills, 1 omsl., 3 rm, 1 omsl., lyft 1 m.,
1rm, dra den lyfta m. över den stickade
V4: rätt

Little Duckling Socks
Yarn: 2 treaded yarn aprox. 100 gram/ 300-400 meters or Novita nalle 100grams.
Knitting needles: double pointed 3 mm and 2,5 mm.
Gauge: 20 stitches on 10 cm in width on 3 mm needles.
Size: 38 European ( 7 ½ us)
Ribbing:
Cast on 40 st. on
needles 2,5mm.
*k 2, p 2* repeat:
**. Knit your ribbing until it measures approximately: 10 cm
Then change to needles
3 mm and knit all stitches. At the same time you increase 4 st.1 st on each needle.
(44 st. in total)
Then on needles
1-2 (the top with the lace pattern) knit the first row in the lace chart, but
the first 4 st on needle 1 & the last 4 st. on needle 2 you always knit
before and after the lace pattern. (k4, lace pattern, k4) only on needles 1 & 2!
Heel:
Heel 1: is a
small, short and very close fitted heel and it´s knitted like this:
On needles 3-4(underneath the foot) you start
to knit the heel back and forth. Put all stitches from needle 3 &4 on one
needle and repeat the rows below to make the reinforced heel:
Row 1: (ks) * l wyb
1 st, knit 1* repeat**.
Row 2: (ws.) Take
your tread to the front off the work lift the first stitch then purl all the
remaining stitches.
Repeat these two
rows 6 times or till your work measures 4 cm from the start off the ribbing to
your needle.
Continue row 1
and 2 but at the same time you are doing decreases like this:
(ks): knit until
it´s 8 st. left on your left needle, knit then together 2 st in the back loop,
turn your work. (This means that you leave 6 st unknitted as you turn your
work)
(ws): do as row
2 above but when it´s 8 st. left, purl 2 st together, turn
(ks): knit to 1
st. before the gap (where you turned your work earlier) knit this stitch
together with the stitch after the gap in the back loop (2st. together in the
back loop) turn your work.
(ws): purl (with yarn in front) to 1 st. before the
gap, Purl 2 together, turn
Do your
decreases like this until you decreased all the way to the edge on each side of
the heel flap and you have 7 st. left on your heel..
Knit then row 1
and 2 without decrease (1 time).
Now you will
pick up 7 st. on the side off the flap until you reach knitting needle nr.1
where you do the row 2 in the lace pattern. Then after needle nr 2 is also done
as the chart shows pick up 7 st. at the side off the flap (43 st. in total) on
all knitting needles.
On needles 1-2:
do as chart and on needles 3-4: knit
all stitches. Knit like this until your work measures: 23,5 or when the sock
reaches half way on your little toe.
I finished my
work with pattern row 4 as my last row. Then do your decrease for the toes.
Heel 2 is a regular heel flap and my favorite for
looks and fit:
On needles 3-4(underneath
the foot) you start to knit the heel back and forth. Put all stitches from needle
3 &4 on one needle and repeat the rows below to make the reinforced heel:
Row 1: (ks) * l wyb
1 st, knit 1* repeat**.
Row 2: (ws.) Take
your tread to the front off the work lift the first stitch then purl all the
remaining stitches.
Repeat row 1 and
2, 22times. End with a purl row as the last.
Then knit
stockinette:
Row1: k16, ssk,k1 and turn your work
Row2: lift 1st
wyif, then purl your stitches until its 6 left on your left needle, p2 tog, p1
Row3: lift 1st,
knit until 1 stitch before the gap, ssk (you ssk the stitch before and the stitch
after the gap together), k1, turn
Row4: lift 1
stitch wyif, purl to 1 stitch before gap, p2tog, p1, turn
Repeat rows 3-4
until you knitted together all gaps, the last ssk/p2tog is the two last
stitches left on your left needle that gets ssk/p2togheter. (the last decrease
ended as a purl row)
Knit until you
reach the heel flap and now it´s time to pick/knit up the stitches on the side
off the heel flap. Knit/pick up 12 in total ( 11 + an extre to avoid holes)
Needles 1-2: do
the pattern then knit/ pick up the other side’s 12 stitches. Knit the heel
until you reach the start off the row: needle 1.
Now knit like
this:
Row1:
Needle 1-2:
pattern(22 sts)
Needle 3-4
(including the side stitches that you knitted/picked up) k1,ssk, knit until
it´s 3 sts left, knit 2tog, k1
Repeat this row
till you have 44 sts in total on your sock, now knit needles 3-4 all rows till
the sock reaches half way on your little toe.
I finished my
work with pattern (needles 1-2) row 4 as my last row. Then do your decrease for
the toes.
Decrease for toes:
Row 1: (needles
1 & 2) knit 1, knit 2 tog.ifl * knit 1, lift 1* repeat:** until there is 3
st. left, knit 2 tog. Ibl, knit 1. (needles 3&4): the same as needles 1&2.
Row 2: knit all
stitches.
Repeat these two
decrease rows.
When it´s 19 st.
left do decrease row 1 again (15 st )
Sew the remaining stitches in”Kitchener stitch”.
when all the stitches is sown take the tread back to where you started to sew
the first stitch and pull the yarn thru your work back to the wrong side(purl
side) off your work. Pull the tread. (this makes the toe rounded and not” boxy”)
Fasten your treads and you’re done.
